How We Work?

Where do you work from?
We work virtually from our homes. For you that means not having to worry if we will be able to make it in to work, even if there is a snow storm or a transit strike.

How do I send you my files?
We are very comfortable with technology. If you have electronic files that you want to send via email (a PDF scan, a Word document, an Excel spreadsheet, etc.) we are quite comfortable working that way. But we are also completely okay with working from actual paper copies. (If that's how you want to send them to us.)

How do you charge for your time?
We bill in 15 minute increments. We're not a "per hour, or any part thereof" kind of place. If something is a 15 minute task, you will get billed for 15 minutes.

How do I budget for how much a task is going to cost?
When you are emailing us to contract us to do the work, just let us know that you want a quote prior to us starting. We'll take a look at what is involved and get back to you with a figure. If you agree to that amount that's what we will work to.

Are you a socially responsible company?
Ah ha! You've saved the best question for last. We are, and it's not just "green washing".

The owner of the business is an environmentalist and has been for many, many years. We work from our homes so there is no need of constant travel, we avoid printing items out if possible, and when necessary we print only on FSC certified paper and use both sides of it. All employees of the company are paid a fair wage and are treated above and beyond the standards set by the Ontario's labour laws.

So many of our "socially responsible" practices are just automatic to us, they are ingrained in what we do automatically.

You as our customer benefit from this too! Because so many of our environmental practices save us money, we are able to keep our costs quite reasonable for you. And you can feel good, knowing that you are working with a partner that cares about the world we live in.
